Channel seven to show V8 Supercar’s next year.

Channel Seven have acquired the rights to show the V8 Supercar’s next year instead of Ten. If you follow the sport, you’ll know that Channel Ten has done quite a lot for it’s progression over the past 9 years or so. Now that seven has the rights, it’s a tad concerning, especially considering it’ll be conflicting with the footy for a time slot on Sunday afternoon. With any luck though, Seven will maintain Ten’s high level of quality in televising the V8 Supercar’s. From the article: “Ten will continue to cover MotoGP and Formula One and is expected to throw major new investment behind its F1 grand prix coverage.” Hopefully that means no more staying up til the early morning if you want to watch the F1. Who knows, maybe this move will give us the best of both world’s, good V8 coverage on Seven and good MotoGP and F1 coverage on Ten. We can only hope.
